- In an effort to cut LOA costs, the Forbes office, in addition to being closed on weekends, will be closed every Wednesday. This new schedule will take effect the week of Tuesday, July 5th, 2011. The office will be open Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 7:30 to 4:00 central time.
- New Sheriff's sale information has been added to our website under the Lot Foreclosure Information hyperlink at the bottom of this page.

April 2011
- New lots available through the sheriff's sale (foreclosures) can be found on the main page at the bottom.
- We now have a schedule available to view on road maintenance and contracts. This can be found on the main page at the bottom. We do have large equipment working on our roads, please watch for them.
- Water has been turned on at the RV Park. Call the office for reservations.
March 2011
- Don Lake, Board of Director member resigned from his position as he is moving. The office had a barbecue after the monthly meeting in Don's honor for his contribution in serving on the board. Doug Schmidt is completing his term.
- Our website now has a link to our new Activity Calendar. We have posted upcoming events such as presentations, annual garage sale, fishing tournament and the annual picnic. The link is on our main page under Popular Links. If you would like to attend any of the functions, please contact our office for more information.
- There are still booths available for our upcoming garage sale on April 8th and 9th. Contact us for more information.
- Our semi-annual newsletter will be mailed out in April. If you prefer to read the newsletter on our website and do not want a copy mailed to you, please e-mail us. We will send out notification when it is available.
- As of March 20th, we have not yet received a date for the sheriff's sale on foreclosed lots. You can view lots currently in foreclosure on our main page under Popular Links.
- Forbes hosted a presentation on Disaster Preparedness this month given by the Benton County Emergency Management. All attendees were in favor of a seconded presentation with more specifics on survival. A date has not been set. For more information, contact our office.
- As of March 20th, the RV Park is still primative camping only. Contact our office for RV Park reservations. Forbes has a new RV Park usage policy. Click here to view.
